Elio Messi (Bergamo 1959) graduates at the Milan Politecnico and following his attitude to the more decorative sides of the field, devotes himself to furniture, scenography, antiques with job experiences in Italy, France and England and as a consultant to art galeries and architecture studios.
Alberto Brugi and Elio Messi have been working together since 1996, when they founded the studio Alberto Brugi & Elio Messi Architetti Associati. The studio with its team of young architects works on projects for important brand and multibrand shops of the luxury industry by introducing an attentive and accurate rationalisation of the spaces at the same time contaminated by classical influences. Besides commercial spaces, the studio works on the planning of private buildings, apartments, open spaces, lofts and villas, in Italy and abroad. Both in the commercial and residential work, the studio has a precise goal which is to create environments with clean and functional lines associated to high comfort. Particular attention is devoted to all aspects of sustainable architecture while keeping a contemporary and refined language and with the goal to mix the different interests and views of the studio founders.
